Africabet overview

Africabet is a well-known betting brand in Zimbabwe. The Lotteries and Gaming Board's public operator register listed two "Africabet" bookmaker premises, in Kwekwe and Gweru, when we checked on 22 and 27 October 2026. That register entry is the evidence behind our "Licence verified" label, and it covers those betting shops.

Important: the website's licence is offshore. The Africabet website (africabet.mobi redirected to africabet.com when we checked) states that it is operated by Vanta Technology LTD, a company registered in Belize, and licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros. That is not a licence from the Zimbabwean regulator. We could not confirm from public sources whether the online site is covered by a Zimbabwean licence. See how to check bookmaker licensing for why this matters.

Products. The site offers sports betting with live betting and statistics, Aviator, casino and live casino, virtual sports, poker and other games.

Rules worth knowing. Africabet's account and payout rules (checked October 2026) say that before your first withdrawal you must provide proof of identity, proof of residence and proof that you own the deposit method; that withdrawals go back to a method you used to deposit; and that the maximum monthly withdrawal is 40,000 US dollars (calculated as withdrawals minus deposits). Its FAQ gives a minimum bet of about $0.10. Deposit and withdrawal limits for each payment method are shown in the cashier.

Payments. When we checked on 27 October 2026, the africabet.com home page showed these payment options, processed through ContiPay: EcoCash, InnBucks, O'mari, OneMoney, ZimSwitch, Visa and Mastercard. It did not say which of them work for withdrawals.

Deposits and withdrawals

From Africabet's "Account, Payouts & Bonuses" rules (checked 22 October 2026):

  • Before the first withdrawal: proof of identity, proof of residence and proof of ownership of the deposit method.
  • Withdrawals are made to a method you have used to deposit, where possible.
  • Maximum monthly withdrawal: 40,000 US dollars (net of deposits).
  • Minimum and maximum amounts per method are shown in the cashier.
  • Withdrawing before bonus wagering is complete forfeits the bonus and its winnings.
