How to read this directory

  • Bookmaker, betting shop or betting house? In Zimbabwe these names mean the same thing: a company licensed to take bets. Many have both an online site and physical shops.
  • Licence labels. "Licence verified" means we have recorded evidence of a licence: either the Lotteries and Gaming Board's public operator register lists the brand, or the bookmaker's own website names its regulator (and a licence number where it gives one). We link the source on every review. "Licence not yet verified" means we found no such evidence yet; we still quote what the bookmaker itself says. Learn how to check a licence yourself.
  • Payment methods. We list a method only after seeing it on the bookmaker's own deposit or withdrawal pages, and we show the date we checked.
  • No invented facts. If we could not confirm something, such as a minimum deposit, we say "not yet verified" instead of guessing.
  • Logos and screenshots. Each review shows the bookmaker's logo and a screenshot of its official home page, so you can recognise the real site. Fake copies of betting sites exist: always type the address yourself.
  • Not a ranking. Bookmakers with a verified licence are listed first, then alphabetically. The order does not mean one bookmaker is better than another. Read how we review bookmakers.
